May Already???

Cannot believe it is May already....only 2 more Mondays of school left...then I will have a 5th and a 3rd grader on my hands....they are ready for lazy days and no homework. I am ready for sleeping in. I love sleep like I love Starbucks...but when your 2 year-old doesn't share your love of sleep well then a vanilla bean frappuccino is the best next thing. Unless your toddler has decided that he really loves the frappuccino too (that you got to share with him) and he decided to not share with Mommy....case in point:

I really can't fault him on not wanting to share the goodness of this vanilla bean drink....he comes by it honestly. This is his brother when he was about 3 years old tasting his first frappuccino. He didn't want to share either.

It's a good thing that Starbucks has started happy hour this week. I might have to get a certain toddler his own drink after his speech appointment this week. :)

I decided last week that enough was enough and Christian had to get a haircut. I was worried others would think he was a girl (you can still dress them like a boy and for some reason people will think he is a girl)  or people would start calling him Samson. So I knew it was going to be a trying experience in the least. Hubby kept asking me are you sure?? He knew it was going to be a battle. We had three good things going for us....1.) We went first thing in the morning...no one else was in there 2.) There were 2 of us to hold him down....you think I am kidding...Christian sat in my lap and hubby still had to help hold him from behind or the side. 3). Kitty (yes that is her name) was awesome in working around this madness in cutting his hair. This toddler is very strong (maybe we should of named him Samson!) and can scream at the top of his lungs like he was being murdered. He just could not understand that no one was hurting him....but it sure sounded like it!!! But it was so worth it even though he didn't think so.

Isn't he so cute?? I think next time he needs a haircut a run through Starbucks will be in order. Maybe the frappuccino will keep him distracted enough.....one can hope.

Speaking of a certain toddler that doesn't like sleep or naps most days just feel asleep sitting up next to me as I am typing....that is more sweet than a vanilla bean frappuccino.

Happy Monday!
